Support Opportunities
The Social Enterprise Centre offers many cost effective training and development opportunities which include scheduled activites plus tailored solutions upon request.
Action Learning Groups - are small group based sessions for existing emtreprenuers who wish to grow or expand. These sessions run once a month for five months with a trained ALG facilitator and focus on supporting people to develop a real skills and experience through practical application.
Vision into Action - are small group based sesions which run for a period of six months with a trained ALG facilitator. This approach is a valuable support toolo for taking a group of people with a new idea thorugh the preparatory stges to start up and the running of a new organisation.
Workshops - are run on a quarterly schedule and include:
- Enterprise Start-up Training - 3 day course
- Essential skills in social enterprises
- Bid writing and Fundraising skills
- Marketing
Networking - regular networking events are organised and run by the Centre giving local social enterpreneurs the opportunity to meet and to share expertise. Networking sessions can include speakers and facilitators and are a way of expanding contacts and business networks across the county in a supportive and informal environment.

How do I join?
Please fill in the membership application
form and send an annual membership subscription of £24.00. This will
enable you to use the Centre, after a conversation with the Project Manager
about what services you are likely to need.
